Worship Leader

Are you passionate about music? We are looking for a worship and music leader for the Discipleship School.

You will be responsible for gently leading our students into worship and teaching the students to lead worship themselves. Introducing new (themed) songs each week and working with the translators to translate the songs into Burmese.

You should be musical - singer/songwriter - can play guitar/piano type person. Ideally some training or degree in worship ministry.

You may also be asked to teach music lessons to the students (which is a doorway to speak into their lives). You will also be expected to be part of the Discipleship School teaching team and take weekly teaching assignments.

We have a JDS Recording Studio in the jungle and you will also be required to manage, produce, and record songs and music videos (and maybe even the podcast) through the recording studio. We want the joyful noise of JDS to go out across Burma through our recording studio.
